Designer / Assistant [Contract Basis]
We're looking for a detail-oriented, thoughtful and focused individual to join our team as a design assistant. This is role consists of both 'work-from-home' tasks and weekly or bi-weekly days in the studio. Time commitment will vary. Applicants must be located in the Greater Vancouver area, and able to travel to the Gastown studio.

- produce stationery proofs and mock-ups using provided layouts / templates, and work with design briefs or moodboards
- manage projects, deadlines and tasklists within our studio project management software.
- manage print production for stationery and liaison with both printers and clients to bring designs to life.

- be fluent in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator, and have regular access to these programs on their own device.

- be competent, motivated and able to meet scheduled deadlines.
- have an talented eye for typography, design and printed matter, and a general understanding of the wedding industry.

- be incredibly thorough, attentive and detail-oriented.

- be well-spoken and able to communicate effectively with clients occasionally in a kind, thoughtful and professional manner via email or phone.

- be able to manage multiple projects, deadlines and tasks.

- be self-motivated and focused when working remotely.

Shipping Manager
We're looking for a competent, detail-oriented and responsible individual to manage the studio's shipping room. This part-time role requires one-two mornings in the Gastown warehouse studio. Applicants must be located in the Greater Vancouver area, and able to travel downtown.

- monitoring all incoming shop orders, inventory levels and shipping supplies.
- compiling and send client welcome packets / sample packs.
- ongoing organization and maintenance of the studio workspace.
- miscellaneous tasks in the studio, which may include supply ordering, light equipment set-up, or furniture assembly.


- highly detail-oriented, thorough, and conscientious.

- punctuality, responsibility and efficiency in handling the studio’s needs.

- ability to create task lists and manage your own time

- excellent organizational skills and an ability to maintain a tidy and efficient workspace.

- an ability to respond in an empathetic, warm, articulate, patient and kind tone in all situations.
