Exploring our Collections

Our stationery offering is an exclusive collection of fine art paper goods for the discerning couple. We encourage you to start by exploring our galleries, where the details of each collection are showcased. Each collection is available in a range of carefully selected color palettes. We encourage you to order samples for the best introduction to our stationery.

Preparing your Order

We encourage you to consider timing and wording as you prepare your order. We suggest that you to review all guidelines on this page carefully. You may choose to separate your order in different stages (save-the-date, invitation suite, and wedding day items), as the details of each are finalized.

After Placing an Order

You will receive an email inviting you to join our client portal where you can view all order details throughout the process. You will have access to our timeline, wording questionnaire, and your complete order history. At this point, you will be asked to submit your wording before proofing can begin. We encourage you to begin gathering your wording details as soon as possible, as delays in providing this information will impact our timeline and delivery date.

Proofing & Approval

Once you receive your carefully crafted proof, you can approve or request changes with the click of a button. One round of revisions is included and further adjustments can be requested for a fee. Once your proof has been approved, the timeline within your portal allows you to continue following your order's progress. We will let you know once your items are completed and ready to be shipped.

110pt Cotton Stock

Soft, stunning 100% cotton cardstock, from a historic family-owned mill in Germany. This paper is intended for artisans, and is available in three stunning shades - fresh white, delicate off-white, and soft grey.

220pt Stock

This ultra-heavy stock is considered one of the best available for digital printing. Available in a fresh white tone.

Wanting more customization options?

No problem! Any requests outside of the options available within our online ordering forms requires a customization request. This allows you to to change ink colors, typography styles, paper colors, and print methods. There are over 400 possible combinations of features available, and we are happy to put together a custom listing based on your desired specifications. Kindly email with your request and we would be happy to help you navigate the customization process.

Please note, certain features are essential to the integrity of each design, and cannot be customized, including the artwork and stationery layout.

Planning & Timeline

Production Times

Production times for your stationery are based on your selected specifications. All personalized pieces are guided through the design, proofing and production phases.

Total timeline estimates:

Digitally printed stationery: 4-5 weeks

Specialty printed stationery (foil or letterpress): 5-7 weeks

Ordering Tips

When calculating your quantity, be sure to count addresses rather than individuals. Invitations are typically mailed to households, so your quantity will likely be lower than your headcount.

Always order 15-20 extra invitations. This will allow for last minute additions, keepsakes, and any you might happen to misplace or damage. Adding more later can be costly and delay delivery.

If you are addressing envelopes yourself or sending them to a calligrapher, consider the possibility of errors and ink spills. Additional blank envelopes are available through our shop.

Important Policies

Requesting Changes

Before proof approval:

Our design process begins immediately once your order is placed. For this reason, we encourage you to consider your design selections carefully before placing an order. Design changes requested after an order is placed, but before a proof has been approved, will incur a fee calculated at 50% of item(s) original cost.

Changes to paper and envelopes incur a $100 restocking fee, and is subject to availability and approval.

After proof approval:

After you have approved your proof, print production begins immediately. Please take time to carefully review the design and text for any errors or inaccuracies. Once print production has begun, any further changes will incur a charge of 100% of item(s) cost.

Idyll Paper cannot accommodate changes to paper and envelopes after your proof has been approved and items sent to print.

Quantity adjustments:

We are not able to refund requests for lower quantities than ordered, so kindly confirm your necessary quantities before placing your order.

If you would like to increase your order quantity, we would be happy to issue a separate invoice with the cost of the extra cards.

In general, we are unable to accommodate quantity adjustments after a proof is approved and sent to print. If you require a quantity adjustment at this stage, please contact us as soon as possible. We will either apply an adjustment fee of $150 in addition to the cost of the extra prints, or instruct you to reorder your additional prints through our website.

Please be aware that quantity adjustments may impact your order fulfillment timeline and delivery date.

Proofing & Approval

By approving the digital proof provided by Idyll Paper, you accept responsibility for the layout and text precisely as shown. Any errors discovered after this point are solely the responsibility of the client. Once approval has been given, your designs proceed directly to print production and may not be changed. Any changes required after this point will incur fees.

Errors & Reprints:

Under no circumstances will Idyll Paper be responsible for incorrect text that has been approved by the client. If errors are discovered after proof approval and you wish to reprint, we are required to charge you for services rendered. The customer will be responsible for the re-printing at a 30% discount of the original cost of the item(s). Reprints requiring a rush order are subject to the additional fees.

In the event that your prints do not match the approved proof, Idyll Paper will take full responsibility for any and all re-printing costs. Errors will be corrected promptly and free of charge.


Due to the custom nature of our products, Idyll Paper cannot offer returns or exchanges of any kind in the event of cancellation or customer dissatisfaction.
